The safety and security of our customers remains our top priority. In response to the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Tokio Marine America will offer reasonable accommodations to prevent any policyholder facing a financial hardship from losing their insurance coverage.
Such reasonable accommodations may include, but not be limited to:
- Extension of premium grace periods;
- Waiver of late fees;
- A temporary moratorium on cancellations for non-payment of premiums;
- Not reporting late payments to credit rating agencies during our extended grace periods; and
- Other policyholder benefits mandated by state insurance departments as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
