Follow the Steps Below to Report a Claim

Provide immediate First Notice of Loss to TM Claims Service with the following:

• Law enforcement contact and phone number (if theft)
• Insured name and contact details (phone, email)
• Cargo description (quantity, lot, serial, and SKU if known)
• Date, time, and location of incident
• Location of cargo and local contact details
• Carrier involved

On receipt, determination will be made if survey is needed.

Notify your agent/broker or report a claim to Tokio Marine America (TMA).

• Have your policy number available
• Call our Marine claim reporting service: 888.855.0870 or you may email cargo@tmclaimsservice.com

Forward documents to TM Claims Service at earliest:

• Bill of lading and freight invoice
• Invoice (purchase or replacement)
• Delivery receipts
• Written notice to responsible carrier and any reply

Additional documents will be requested as needed.

If you are reporting a THEFT claim:

1. Report to the police.
2. Report to Cargonet - Cargonet will work on the recovery of the cargo.

3. Report to TMCS.
